This FREE creation science class, taught by Andy Daniels, provides Biblical and scientific support for a young Earth (roughly 6000 years old).  The sessions will be held in a casual, classroom format and geared towards youth, but adults are welcome and encouraged to come as well.

The following is a tentative outline (content may shift dates as needed).

Feb 6  – Introduction + Days of Creation (Part 1)
Look at theories for distant starlight and the creation of the universe
Feb 13 – Days of Creation (part 2) + the Earth Before the Flood
Dark matter, dry land created, Canopy theory, lifespans of men before the flood
Feb 20 – The Flood
Theories about the details of the flood
Feb 27 – The Geological Column
Interpreting the geological column.  Where are all the human fossils?  Un-fossilized tissue found in dinosaur fossils.
Mar 6 – Carbon Dating and Rock Dating
Why does carbon dating give results larger than 6,000 years? Why do dating methods used on rocks give dates of millions of years?
Mar 13 – Ice Age
When did the Ice Age occur, what caused it, how long did it last?
Mar 20 – Dinosaurs
Were they on the ark, how did they die and when?
Mar 27 – Evidence for a Young Earth
The diameter of the sun, receding moon, spiral galaxies; helium in the atmosphere, etc.
April 3 – Evidence for an Intelligent Designer
The complexity of creation defies evolution, providing clear evidence for a creator: God.
April 10 – Overflow day
