Forida State Parks Photo Contest and Junior Park Ranger Program
I have seen the photo contest before and I am still learning how it works. My friend recently told me that it runs once a month and she is also going to have her kids do the Junior Park Ranger program. that one runs the second Saturday of every month and they earn a certificate, Member ID Card and the Official Junior Ranger PASSPORT. Marine Science Center Volunteer Orientation meetings

Orientation begins promptly at 10:00 am and ends at approximately 12:00
Minimum age 16
(Minimum age 18 for Sea Turtle/Aquarium Maintenance)

Age 18 and older: Purchase and complete a Criminal Background Check for $17.50

FIRST Robotics
FIRST Robotics Team 1557 (12 Volt Bolt) invites all area high school students, parents, teachers, and professionals to attend an annual Open House at their clubhouse in Eustis on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Those interested in joining the team will have an opportunity to view videos of previous competitions, see a robot in action, talk with team members and mentors, see how a team works and have fun with like-minded students.
Building robots is only one aspect of what the team has to offer since FIRST Robotics is a hands-on learning experience for graphic arts, public relations, web design, computer programming, mechanical engineering, math, electrical wiring and electronics. There is something for everyone on a robotics team!
